CASA Performing Arts are committed to
providing opportunities for young people in the North East to take part in
and create Theatre and Music. We believe that every child has a right to
the arts  and we are committed to providing opportunities on your
doorstep. We work closely with schools and organisations to create safe,
friendly and fun environments for our students.

At CASA we specialise in building

confidence. We provide performing arts classes and workshops covering
drama, singing and dance, culminating in performance opportunities both
within CASA and on the professional stage. These performances take place within a warm and friendly atmosphere and always generate a buzz of energy and excitement.

Our teaching is assured, motivational and
enthusiastic, which leads to lots of enjoyment and a consistent
improvement of valuable skills in each discipline. This promotes personal
development, physical awareness, communication and articulation, as well as being educational and lots of fun.

Both our principle staff members are experienced in performance, "Mr B" as we like to call him has been involved in many local and professional productions including Jesus Christ Superstar, Whistle down the Wind & the UK tour of Evita. Day to day you will find Ian teaching Music
and Performing Arts in schools in and around the Sunderland area, whilst
Laura is busy touring the UK leading and working with children and
adult choirs as well as teaching in schools. Both our tutors are
theatrically trained and well versed in singing.

We believe the best way to cement learning
is to teach someone else. At CASA Performing Arts, this is our vision and
at the heart of everything we do.
